Should you see it? You could do worse, but why bother?
There's been enough films from Marvel that you probably know the plot: four people go to space and come back with superpowers; then they have to use them for good. This was made for a reported $1 million and the budget looks like it went mostly to one costume. The special effects are often quite bad, especially with the elastic guy - his arm waving from the limo is funny, for example. The acting isn't great and the plot has some issues (two people fall in love much too fast and conveniently), but it's closer to the original comics... so I'm told... than the films from the 2000's. The stories surrounding this getting shelved probably are more interesting than the film itself.
I watched this movie a long time ago, but couldn't remember what I thought of it. Recently I watched the Doomed documentary on the making of the movie. Then I watched the movie again and gave it an 8/10. But I do wonder how much that grade is influenced by the documentary. If there is one word that I would use to describe this movie it is "Heart." Looking at it's imdb rating I am sure many would say "Crap." I probably need to see it again a few years down the line.

The best word I coud use to describe the acting is "enthuastic.
Well except for Mr Fantastic. In some ways he seemed to be in a different movie altogether. When the invisible woman screams in pain, he has no reaction. I also thought the music played when the jeweller is spying on Alicia a bit odd.
I liked that the best special effects ie best imo were kept until near the end ie The Torch at full blast. But I'm sure that was down to the budget.
