Hercules Against the Moon Men (1964)
How bad is it? It may be the worst 1950's/1960's "swords and sandals" film.
Should you see it? I give it mild approval.
No one ever said muscleman Steve Reeves could act and his replacement, Reg Park, was no better in Hercules films, but this isn't a Reeves or Park Hercules movie; it isn't a Hercules movie at all! It's a Maciste film, retitled for the American market, starring Alan Steel, who is the worst actor yet. There's a sandstorm scene that seems to go on for hours, making me think there must've been an actual sandstorm that interfered with filming and they just went with it. The rock men at the end are pretty fun, if you get that far (fast-forwarding may be needed).
