Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4: The Next Generation (1994)

aka Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation, aka Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4

How bad is it? It doesn't work as horror or as parody.
Should you see it? If you liked the 3rd one (someone must have), or want to see the worst film of any of the actors.

After a car accident, teens on their prom night go to a secluded house for help, only to fall prey to a family of psychopath cannibals. In other words, it's exactly the same as the first film - except that it plays as a satire; for one thing, Leatherface is a cross-dresser in this one. Matthew McConaughey is a buff psycho with an artificial leg whose remote gets mixed with the TV remote at one point. Renee Zellweger is one of the victims. There's some genuinely creepy moments, but not enough for a true horror film and some in-jokes and some intentional over-the-top humor, but not enough to sustain the film. So many people have seen this that it's got it's own cult, a sub-division of the cult for the original, I suspect.
