The Stewardesses (1969)

aka International Stewardesses, aka Supersonic Supergirls

How bad is it? It's just a framing device for soft-core in 3-D.
Should you see it? Only if you wonder why they don't make 3-D porn.

This is essentially a plotless film, following one night in the lives of a bunch of stewardesses, involving a lot of sex and drugs. None of it goes particularly well; for example, LSD leads to a jump out of a window (as it always seems to in 1960's films). There's some rather pedestrian sex scenes, with the lesbian one being surprisingly believable. There's nude yoga and sex with a lamp and about 30 gratuitous 3-D "point something toward the camera" shots. It's not the worst 3-D sex film, by any means ("M 3-D: The Movie" comes to mind for that title, but that was hard-core), but that's not saying much. A few of the actresses were notable in other trash films and I think that's why this still gets attention - that and the fact that it was the inspiration for SCTV's "Dr. Tongue's 3-D House of Stewardesses."
